Hopefully the wait is over!

As of this week, Eric and I have been chosen by a wonderful birthmother to adopt her unborn child. We are praying that everything goes smoothly. For those of you I have not personally notified, I am sorry... finding out has been a little different than we thought, as we met the birthmother just hours before I flew to Atlanta to visit my brother and his family.

1 Year Down and Still Waiting

So it's been officially over a year of waiting and still no news... this realization is harder on some days than on others. We know that our Coordinator is doing all that she can to show our profile to perspective mothers as much as possible. At this time, our profile has traveled to another office to try and see if they have any leads. I know that in time, our little one will come and we will wonder why we thought that the wait was so long... when really it hasn't been too long... at least not yet ;)

Thank you all for your support and prayers, we are hopeful that this year will bring a new bundle of joy into our lives.

Overdue update... still no news

Well, when I started this blog I had high hopes that I would be updating it continuously. Unfortunately, I haven't done too well about updating it due to the lack of activity on the adoption process. At this time, we are still waiting for any news. We haven't met with any birth mothers yet, but are hopeful that this year will be more productive. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers.

October and still waiting

Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile, but there hasn't been any activity on our end. We are still waiting to hear from a birth-mother. We are comforted knowing that our adoption coordinator has been showing our profile to birth-mothers. Please keep praying for those females making the decision of life for their unborn children and pray that the right one will come along soon. Thank you.

End of June... still waiting

As June comes to a close, we are still waiting. Nothing new has happened since the last post, but we are hopeful that it won't be too long.

Just checking in

Just thought I'd add a new post... we are still waiting to hear anything from our adoption coordinator. It is comforting to know that we are on the website now. It is a little nerve-racking to not have a clue if we are being looked at, but I know that when the right mother chooses us, and we have our little one, this waiting will not seem so long.
